We are excited to offer IN PERSON VBS this summer!!! JULY 12-16, 2021 Ridge has missed the children this last year! We are looking forward to reconnecting! We have some big changes for VBS this year!
First, we are doing an EVENING VBS for the first time! from 5 pm - 7:30 pm will be our new time!
Second, VBS will be totally OUTDOORS! Each activity will be positioned around the church property with the exception of Snack time. We will offer snacks inside the fellowship hall. this will cut down on the bugs and plates flying away. In case of rain, we will have areas set up inside to accommodate all the activities so the fun can go on rain or shine! make sure you apply sunscreen and bug spray!
Third, because of the timing, we will be offering a light supper as opposed to snacks. Chicken nuggets, pizza, hot dogs, mac and cheese, sub sandwiches are just some of the ideas we are working on offering.
Fourth, SPACE WILL BE LIMITED!!! We are limiting the number of children because it is our first time doing an outside VBS. Safety is our number one priority. We want to make sure kids and leaders can safely navigate the outside spaces.
Lastly, FRIDAY WILL BE VBS CELEBRATION DAY! parents are encouraged to stay for VBS this night. Stories, song, dance, and wrap-up video will be enjoyed by all followed by a COOKOUT! All families are invited to stay after the finale for dinner, games, and fellowship! more information will come once you have registered for VBS
